- Our machines are old but still running well.
Then they carry value, and a report based only on age would understate them. Remaining life is assessed from actual condition, which is why we inspect.
- Can you value machinery and the building together?
Yes, and usually we should. They are shown separately so a lender or buyer can see the split.
- We are importing a used machine.
You will likely need a chartered engineer certificate for customs covering age, condition and value. We issue both together.

The Delhi industrial estates we work in
Okhla, Naraina, Wazirpur, Mayapuri, Bawana and Narela are where most of this work sits. Each has its own mix: light engineering, printing, garments, food processing, plastics and metal working.
Machinery is valued separately from the premises it stands in, on its own basis, and by somebody who can assess condition and remaining life rather than reading a depreciation table.
A chartered engineer signs it
Plant and machinery valuation is assessed and signed by our own practising chartered engineer. For customs matters, project certification and machinery condition reports that is not a preference, it is what the recipient requires.
Where machinery is being imported or cleared through the inland container depot, the certificate has to match the specification and the condition as found, and we inspect rather than certify from a list.
