Terms of use

The rules for using this website and the free calculators on it. Engaging us to prepare a valuation is a separate agreement.

Using this site

You are welcome to read anything here, quote it with a link back, and use the calculators as often as you like. You may not copy the content wholesale and republish it as your own.

The free calculators

They are estimating tools. They run on the numbers you type in, and their answers are only ever as good as those numbers. They are not a valuation, they are not tax advice, and no bank, court, tax officer, insurer or embassy will accept a printout from one.

We test the arithmetic and we publish the rates and dates each tool uses. We cannot promise a result is right for your particular case, because we have not seen your property or your papers.

Engaging us for a valuation

That is a separate agreement, made in writing, with a scope and a fee agreed before we start. Nothing on this website is an offer, a quotation or a contract. Reading a page here does not make us your valuer, and a phone call for free advice does not either.

Accuracy and changes

Tax rules, circle rates and stamp duty change. We date the numbers we publish and we update them, but there will always be a gap between a change and our catching it. Confirm anything that matters before you act on it.

Links to other sites

Where we link to a government portal or another site, we do not control it and we are not responsible for what it says.

Which law applies

These terms are governed by Indian law, and the courts at Delhi have jurisdiction over any dispute about this website.
